Explore Akiyoshido, a vast limestone cave beneath Akiyoshidai Quasi-National Park in Yamaguchi. Follow an approximately 1km sightseeing course through natural underground formations, around 100 metres below the plateau. The cave stays at about 17°C throughout the year, providing a cool setting in summer and a warmer retreat in winter. Allow about 60 minutes for a one-way visit or 90 minutes for a return trip.

Child policy: - Children under 6 years old are free of charge. Good to know: - To redeem your Akiyoshido Cave entrance ticket, please go to the "Akiyoshido Information Center." In the event that the Akiyoshido Information Center is closed due to natural disaster or other reasons, you may redeem your ticket at the "Akiyoshidai Information Center" or the "Kurotani Information Center." - Wheelchairs are available free of charge, but wheelchair access is limited to designated areas of the cave. - Check the official website for the daily opening hours and closure dates prior to your visit.
