On this guided tour, you'll explore the most intriguing sections of the enormous 3rd-century catacombs, where the remains of half a million Christians were entombed.

Good to know: - The Catacombs of St. Callixtus can only be visited with a guide Child Policy: - Free entry for kids -7, disabled visitors +1 carer, students of Christian Archaeology. All with a valid proof Getting there: From Termini Station: - Metro A (direction Anagnina) to San Giovanni then bus 218 (direction Ardeatina). Get off at stop Fosse Ardeatine. You will find the entrance to the Catacombs in front of you - Metro B (direction Laurentina) to Colosseo or Circo Massimo (bus stop: Terme Caracalla/Porta Capena), then bus 118 (direction Appia/Villa Dei Quintili). Get off at stop Catacombe di San Callisto (Via Appia, 110)
