Visit the National Palace of Ajuda, the former residence of Portugal's royal family from the reign of King Luís I until the monarchy ended in 1910. Child policy: - Children under 13 years old are free of charge and must be accompanied by a paying adult. Good to know: - Residents of Portugal can enter for free with a valid Citizen Card. - Reduced-price senior tickets for visitors aged 65+ can be purchased on site. - The palace has an access ramp and lift for visitors with reduced mobility, and two wheelchairs are available for use. - Lockers and a cloakroom are available for belongings; helmets, umbrellas and similar items are not permitted inside the museum. - Flash photography, selfie sticks, tripods and other stabilising devices are not permitted. - Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited throughout the museum route. - Last admission is 45 minutes before closing time. - Check the official website for the daily opening hours and closure dates prior to your visit.
